The Double Actor may be used in the automation of swing doors where appearance, maintenance of normal operation or compression of weather-stripping is the prevalent criteria in a residential setting..

This operator mounted to the push side of the door incorporates similar circuitry to the sliding door operator differing only in the fact that both sides of the pneumatic cylinder are pressurized during the entire cycle. Upon activation, the opening side of the cylinder is under the higher pressure allowing the door to unlatch and open. The reverse is true during the closing cycle. The latching force supplied at the end of the closing cycle will compress weather stripping since the pressure differential is greatest at this point.

Normal operation of the door is maintained in its entirety with the Double Actor.

Options: Assist cylinder for exterior doors with magnetic weather stripping.
